Bowl arrangement workshop

Come and spend some time in the garden and cut your own flowers to make a beautiful bowl arrangement to take home. This is an opportunity for anyone to take a few hours out of their busy lives to unwind, to reconnect to themselves and to nature, to enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of the farm and to explore their floral creativity.

You will be guided by me in making a beautiful bowl arrangement in a natural style using only reusable mechanics - no floral foam. I’ll walk you through my creative process as I make a sample and then give you time and space to create your own. There are some pointers which I hope you’ll find helpful, but this is your creation and I’ll only help if you ask me to!

Once you’ve seen my demo you’ll be given a pair of snips and a slim metal bucket to pick into which will comfortably hold a large handful of flowers.

You will have free reign over the garden, picking whatever takes your fancy, whatever colour combination. No flowers are off limits, although you will be given guidance on how best to pick for the health of the plant and the longevity of your flowers.

Wear sturdy shoes for exploring the garden and dress for the weather!
