Wannabe starlet Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap ... until he finds out he's been duped! Awaiting trial in the county jail, Roxie vies for the spotlight with another infamous killer, Velma Kelly, and her eye-popping cohort of “Merry Murderesses.” With the help of a slick celebrity lawyer, a corrupt prison warden and the scandal-hungry media, Roxie and Velma ultimately join forces in pursuit of their version of the American Dream: fame, fortune, and acquittal.

One of the longest running musicals on Broadway, the 1996 Chicago revival won six Tony® Awards and a Grammy and garnered lavish praise:

“Wildly entertaining... [with a] dazzling score.” – New York Daily News

“A pulse-racing revival that flies us right into musical heaven.” – The New York Times

Directed by Jeffery Huls, the SAMOHI production features original choreography by local choreographer Sydney Diamond, dazzling sets and costume design, and a script adapted to be appropriate for audiences pre-teen and older. Don’t miss your chance to experience SAMOHI’s stellar cast, skilled technical crew, and hopping student pit orchestra — over 100 students in all — combine to bring “All That Jazz” to life!
