William Golding’s Lord of the Flies is one of the most studied novels in English literature. Nigel Williams’s stage adaptation transforms this contemplative novel into an energetic, gripping theatrical piece.

When a group of British students becomes stranded on a deserted island, they struggle to maintain civilization without adults to guide them. What begins as a story of survival and friendship quickly descends into a dark exploration of human behavior and the breakdown of social order. This is dystopian storytelling at its finest!

Recommended for grades 8 and up. Not suitable for sensitive audiences. This production contains depictions of violence, physical harm, death, gore, and animal sacrifice, as well as fog, haze, and fire effects. There will be no intermission.
