Pericles

A Shakespearean romp in Hill House Garden telling the weird and wonderful tale of PERICLES, the Prince of Tyre, his adventures of shipwreck, revelations of incest and intrigue, and eventually curious reunion with his wife and daughter (thus ready to become the first citizen of Athens, the greatest orator of his age,and founder of the Athenian Empire - although Shakespeare doesn't go on to tell that part of the story). 

Gates open for the telling of this fantastical tale at 2.30.

Performance will start at approx 3pm.

There will be wine, tea, and perhaps cake, and time to wander in the garden
