The SAND is the member association for Naturopathic Doctors in the province of Saskatchewan. Every two years, on the odd year, our organization hosts the Healing Skies Naturopathic Medicine Conferences. Naturopathic Doctors across Canada and the United States are delegates at our events.
The Vision for the conferences is to provide high quality education to our profession, to ensure that the speakers we bring cover a wide variety of our therapeutic modalities as they relate to the given conference theme, to address innovations and cutting edge research as it relates to our medicine, all while staying rooted in our foundations and traditions and honouring our Elders.
Our Mission is to ensure that participants, speakers and sponsors all leave our conferences feeling not only that they had received valuable clinical tools, but also that they had been on a healing retreat and had truly experienced the adage "Healer, Heal Thyself."
