At this year’s Family Safety Event, we will be hanging out with the real-life heroes that protect and keep us safe every single day. Also, there is a pretty amazing surprise appearance by your favorite big-screen superheroes!

At the heart of the Family Safety Day Event is a simple yet powerful goal: to equip local San Diego families with vital safety information, while ensuring everyone has a blast. Our mission is to make this event a one-stop hub for essential safety insights and resources that cover everything from CPR techniques to staying safe in the digital world.

We could not be MORE excited to share that Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) will be on-site, teaming up with us to bring you vital safety insights. Their experts, fluent in both English and Spanish, will equip you with crucial information.

Who's O.U.R.:

Founded in 2013 by Tim Ballard, a former U.S. Special Agent, O.U.R. fights child sex trafficking and exploitation. Their strategies include International Operations, Domestic Law Enforcement Relations, and Aftercare for Survivors.

Why It Matters:

Ever watched “Sound of Freedom"? The movie takes you on an emotional and eye-opening journey that leaves an indelible mark on your heart and mind, which prompted us to connect with O.U.R. Now, they're joining Family Safety Day! Their presence is a response to the disturbing reality they battle day in and day out.
