Mid-week Morning Walk : Stodmarsh NNR

Leaders Gary Stewart and Phil Poole

Starting at the Stodmarsh NNR Car Park we will explore the reedbeds around the main lake, visiting Reedbed Hide and Lampen Wall, then walking via the alder woods and towards Marsh Hide, before returning to the Car Park. Possible bird species include late departing wildfowl, Marsh Harriers, herons, possibly booming Bittern, and Spring migrants (e.g. warblers, hirundines, terns, etc)
