Walk Leaders : Rob Rackliffe and Gary Stewart

The walk will start at the ARC pits car park (opposite the entrance to RSPB Dungeness reserve). After visiting the Hanson Hide overlooking the ARC pits, dependent upon weather conditions, we may then make a short drive to Dungeness Lighthouse for a a brief sea-watch. We will then drive to the RSPB Dungeness Visitor Centre for a walk around the RSPB Reserve, returning to the Visitor Centre about 12.30 p.m. You are the free to have lunch, or drive home. There may be the possibility for further birding after lunch. 

There is the possibility of finding a  wide variety of birds during the day, including resident birds, passage migrants and waders and wildfowl on return from their summer breeding grounds.
