Mid-week Morning Walk : Cliffe Pools

After meeting at the RSPB Car Park, off Salt Lane, Cliffe for a 9.00 a.m. start, this walk will explore the numerous disused gravel pits. We hope to find numerous species of waders and wildfowl, who make the gravel pits and the adjoining Thames Estuary their winter roosting and feeding area, in addition to passerines that feed in the scrub and bushes around the gravel pits. Detailed instructions to the Car Park will be sent to participants approx. 48 hours prior to the walk.
