This is an invitation to take a step away from the world – the pressures, the to dos, the deadlines – and spend time ‘rediscovering’ your true self. By listening intentionally for God’s presence in your life, this retreat offers you the chance to calm your spirit and listen for all that is holy. We will explore ways to allow the Spirit to move in our days and to build in times for connecting with God, ourselves, others, and creation.

Join us at Rivendell Spiritual Center in beautiful Monteagle. Tucked beside the Cumberland Plateau and surrounded by gardens and mature trees, the setting offers multiple spaces for groups, small groups and personal reflection.

All adults - male and female - are welcome. The retreat will begin with dinner on Friday, March 5 and conclude with closing worship on Sunday, March 7. The total cost includes lodging, meals, facilitation, and supplies:

· $525 in a double occupancy room

· $675 in a single occupancy room

This event is part of the Center for Hope and Healing. Scholarships are available thanks to the support of Woodmont Christian Church. Feel free to ask about scholarships or anything else.

Here are the the Nitty Gritty Details:

• Reserve your space today with a $100 deposit. The balance will be due by 1/22/27. I will send a reminder about that in early January. We need a minimum of 8 reservations to hold the retreat. If we do not have 8 reservations, I will refund your deposit in full in January. Our maximum capacity will be twelve.

• Rivendell Retreat Center is based on a historic (cool and quirky) old house. The meeting rooms and dining rooms are on the first floor. All of the sleeping rooms are UPSTAIRS in the old house. Each are charming and unique.  

• If you have issues with climbing a flight of stairs, there are sleeping rooms in nearby houses that are on the first floor. These houses are about a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the main house. If you have mobility concerns, please let me know when you make the reservations. Happy to discuss.

• My charming husband Steve will be our chef for the weekend. As many of you know, he’s a good, but messy cook. For family peace, we will be asking every participant to help with setting tables and cleaning up afterwards. And please let us know if you have dietary restrictions to help with meal planning.
