Winter Wonders 2026-2027

Winter Wonders is a World-Class Light Show experience located nearby in Eliot, Maine!  With Millions and Millions of Lights, this 14-acre, 1mile Walk-Through Light Show is the Most Immersive and Creative in New England.  If you love holiday lights, make sure you don’t miss this experience!

In our seventh year, you'll find lots of new and reimagined displays. We pride ourselves on Creativity and Craftsmanship above all else. The vast majority of our props, sculptures, and light displays are designed and built right here on the farm by our artisan team using metalwork, recycled materials, and inventive techniques in our own barns.  These handmade, farm-created exhibits celebrate the winter season, local culture and activities, farming life, wildlife, and pure immersion in light.

You'll wander interactive tunnels, glowing scenes, and larger than life creations (including illuminated aircraft, characters, and even a massive clipper ship) that are magical and completely original. From year to year, we always make sure that your visit will be a One-Of-A-Kind Experience that cannot be duplicated!

We are focused on providing an opportunity for our guests to create Beautiful, High-Quality Memories with Family and Friends during the Holidays, and into the Winter Months. Take a break from the Hustle and Bustle of the Holiday Season to relax and really get into the Holiday Spirit OR visit us after the New Year to bring some light into your January and February. Fresh snow, fresh music choices, and new props will create a beautiful winter landscape. Our lighted slide will also be available for visitors to use on event dates after January 1st.  Come to experience farm life and celebrate the seasons!

Note: Trails are all compacted gravel so wheelchairs and/or strollers with All-Terrain Wheels will be able to navigate the paths. Wheelchairs, Wagons, or Strollers with Small and/or Narrow Wheels are Not Recommended!

There are lots of areas to Take Pictures/Videos and Create Memories that will last a lifetime.

We also provide Special Food and Drink Items (Warm Cider Donuts, Warm Apple Cider, Hot Chocolate, and Other Unique Items) for your enjoyment.

Lock your date and time in early as this event sells out well in advance, especially on the Peak nights!

Note: This is the third year for our Three Tier Pricing Plan (Value - $18, Regular - $21, and Peak - $24) These prices are the same as last year and the $18 Value Price has been the same for the last five years. In these tough economic times, we are making every effort to keep this event Affordable, Family Fun.

The following calendars show the dates that the event runs on along with the Price Tier for each date.

IMPORTANT: Before You Purchase Your Tickets Please Read.

Tickets are only required for Visitors Aged 4 or Older (Children 3 or Younger are Free). Please don't purchase tickets for the kids 3 or younger because we will not be able to Refund the Money spent on those tickets.

There are No Refunds for Any Reason (unless Sandy Hill Farm Cancels the Event).

Your tickets can be Transferred to Another Person by either gifting or selling the tickets for use on the Original Date/Time. You will need to send/deliver the tickets to the new person either electronically or in hard copy form. When the person checks in at the ticket booth, they will need to give the name of the person that the tickets were originally purchased under. They will also need to have the tickets with them.

Another option is for you to Request a Move of Your Tickets to another date and/or time in the case of an emergency or other issue. You will need to Contact Us by at least 12 Hours before your Time Slot to do this. Please note that the tickets will only be moved once, then they are locked into the new date/time. If you are looking to move your tickets, please visit the Move Tickets Tab on our Website to see the process. This year there will be a Move Charge of $5.00 Per Ticket to move your tickets.

Prior to purchasing your tickets, please check with family and friends to make sure that you have coordinated your times. We don’t want to have to charge you for a ticket move due to poor planning.

This event will take place in All Types of Weather Conditions. We run the event in light rain/snow and other adverse weather conditions. We recommend that visitors to the farm dress appropriately for all potential weather situations. It is a good idea to dress in layers. Also, please wear footwear that is warm and water-resistant. Your visit will be much more fun if you are dressed properly. Bring an umbrella in your car just in case.

If there is dangerous weather near the farm, we will postpone or cancel the event. The decision to postpone or cancel is at the Sole Discretion of Sandy Hill Farm. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified via email and text message so that you don’t travel to the farm. If there is a cancellation, you will have the option to move your tickets to another Date/Time or receive a monetary refund. If we do not cancel, there will be No Monetary Refunds. You can bring your tickets on your phone. That will save you having to print them out.

Unfortunately, Pets Are Not Allowed at the event so please do not bring them to the farm. We allow dogs that fit the definition of a Service Dog under the definition of the Americans With Disability Act. This will be strictly enforced prior to entry to the event.

If you are concerned about any of the aforementioned policies, we recommend that you wait until closer to the event to purchase your tickets.

Epilepsy Warning: This light show has blinking lights with different levels of intensity and different patterns, so if a person has photosensitive epilepsy there may be a risk of attending the show. We are not medical professionals, but if there is any question about the blinking lights triggering a seizure, we would recommend not attending the light show. Of course, the decision is up to you and your family.
