SANSAAR BIG KIDS GARBA 2026 (AGES 8 - 14)

You asked, and we listened! Sansaar is thrilled to introduce Sansaar Big Kids Garba—a brand-new event created specifically in response to requests from our community for an experience tailored to older children aged 8 to 14.

This session is designed for older kids who are ready for a faster pace, higher energy, and structured learning. Each style will feature step-by-step instruction from our experienced teachers followed by plenty of time to dance and show off new moves in a lively, supportive environment.

• Location: Jewish Free School (JFS), The Mall, Kenton, Harrow

✨ What to Expect & Dances We'll Be Doing

Throughout the evening, we will cover a full spectrum of traditional Garba styles, blending workshops with open floor dancing:

• Garbo Essentials: Step-by-step teaching and dancing for both Thran Thali (3-clap) and Be Thali (2-clap) styles.
• Ramjanyu: Learning and dancing to fast-paced, high-energy rhythm patterns.
• Raas: Bringing out the sticks for full-energy Dandiya Raas!
• Aarti: A special moment during the evening for our traditional devotional prayer together.

• Under 2s: Free (Entry ticket required)

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Under 2s & Younger Siblings

This event is specifically tailored for older children, featuring faster dance circles and high-energy movement.

• We strongly advise bringing children under 2 (and toddlers under 3) to our Sunday Kids Garba sessions instead, which offer a gentler environment tailored to younger age groups.
• For safety reasons, children under 2 will NOT be permitted on the dance floor at the Big Kids event.

Tickets are limited to ensure plenty of space on the dance floor. Early booking is strongly recommended!
