Embodied Presence Seasonal Retreat

It's All About Attention

A two day non residential, seasonal gathering , exploring the ART OF PAYING ATTENTION - you will be guided into an inquiry of body awareness, somatic movement and contact improvisation- (exploring moving in physical contact with another)

What if the quality of your life was shaped by the quality of your attention?

In a world that constantly pulls us away from ourselves, this weekend offers an opportunity to slow down, soften, and rediscover what becomes possible when we give our full attention to the present moment.

As the seasons change, so do we.

Each season offers us an invitation to pause, to notice what is asking for our attention, and to reconnect with what truly matters.

Embodied Presence is more than a workshop. It is the beginning of a seasonal gathering—a space where we come together throughout the year to deepen our practice, nourish our creativity, and remember what it feels like to belong in ourselves and in community.

Through embodied movement, somatic inquiry, Contact Improvisation, meditation, creative exploration, live music and deep rest, we will cultivate a richer relationship with ourselves and others, grounded in presence, through the simple yet profound practice of paying attention.

Attention to sensation.

Attention to movement.

Attention to sound.

Attention to stillness.

Attention to ourselves.

Attention to one another.

This is not about learning steps or striving for a particular outcome.

It is about becoming more available to your own lived experience.

Over two spacious days we'll explore how attention can become a practice—one that supports greater presence, creativity, authenticity and connection.

Together we'll create a nurturing community where artists, therapists, movement practitioners and anyone curious about embodied living can gather to explore, move, reflect and rest.

Throughout the weekend we'll be accompanied by two wonderful guest artists whose work beautifully complements this exploration.

Laurel Morgan will offer live music weaving together vocal sounds of earth, soul and esoteric realms, with various instrumental atmospheres. This will support a co creative improvisational exploration for the extended open practice/ jam session. Followed by a space to simple receive the magick of Laurels gifts as she sings you into deep stillness.

Steven Howarth will guide us into a restorative sound bath, offering space to deeply rest, integrate and receive the power of vibrations moving through your body. There will be a space open to be move after if this expression is calling- which can happen as the vibrations of the sound bath ripple through our fluid body moving us into fluid motion.

During the weekend you'll experience:

• Somatic movement practices
• Contact Improvisation explorations: touch, experiential anatomy, body-mind centring and bodywork
• Embodied meditation and mindfulness
• Creative enquiry and playful exploration
• Live music accompanying movement
• Deep rest supported by sound
• Reflection and shared community

Out time together will involve space to be both indoors and outdoors depending on the elements.

You may leave with:

• A deeper relationship with your body and its innate self organising intelligence

• Greater capacity to be present with yourself and others

• Increased creativity, confidence and freedom in movement

• A renewed sense of vitality, joy and belonging

• Practical practices to bring more presence into everyday life

Whether you are completely new to this work or have years of experience, you are warmly welcome.

Come as you are.

Leave with a deeper capacity to attend to what truly matters.
