  • You love to learn, and want to understand more about ADHD and its impact on clients.

- How does it work?

  • Online training course with a maximum of 8 participants to allow interaction throughout (via Zoom).

  • 6 x zoom training sessions (60 min each- includes plenty of time to share your experience and ask questions)


- When is it happening?

8.30-9.30pm on the following evenings:  16th/ 23rd/ 30th March    6th/ 13th/ 20th April


- What will we cover?

Session 1: What is ADHD? - The history & wider context of ADHD in society

Session 2: What is ADHD? - ADHD types/ symptoms/ diagnosis


Session 3: The person behind the ADHD - How people deal with their ADHD (medication etc)

Session 4: The person behind the ADHD  - The challenges your client may present (with case study)

Session 5: How to be an ADHD-friendly organiser - Developing an ADHD-friendly approach

Session 6: How to be an ADHD-friendly organiser - Practical tips for organising with ADHD


- What's included?

  • A worksheet to add your own notes.

  • An opportunity to ask questions and discuss specific challenges during and at the end of each session.

  • Handouts on medication PLUS further suggested reading/ resources.

  • Access to a private Facebook page to share learning and access additional support (ADHD for Organisers).

TECHNICAL LIMITS

Training is delivered using Zoom, with a link provided prior to each session. Please ensure you are pre-registered with Zoom. Please check your camera/ audio are working before the session starts.

All contents and discussions during training remain confidential within the group. Materials are all copyrighted and participants agree not to share any materials without written permission from Sarah Bickers.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Pre-payment for the course constitutes an agreement for training at the dates/ times above. Refunds will be provided only under exceptional circumstances. If fewer than 6 people sign up for training then the event will be cancelled and your payment refunded in full.
