If we've not met before, let me introduce myself :) I am a Performance Psychologist (BSc (Hons.), MSc, MBPsS.) and Certified Wim Hof Instructor. For the past 10 years, I've been working in elite sport, helping athletes and coaches to improve their mental game - be it resilience, confidence, mindset or focus. I've also worked extensively with ambitious business owners, mentoring them to create successful six-figure enterprises without burning-out. I now run wellbeing workshops and adventure retreats as well as deliver performance psychology programmes for dynamic and innovative businesses to help their employees thrive.
After reaching burn-out myself, I know how it feels first-hand to feel out-of-balance, stressed and overwhelmed. Back in 2018, I was running three different businesses, and felt like I was a hamster on an ever-quickening wheel I couldn't get off! I worked seven days a week, took my laptop on holiday with me and constantly felt tired. It wasn’t healthy and didn’t feel good. I was over-worked and over-whelmed. I knew there must be a better way to do it. To have the success, but without the chronic stress.
And I'm pleased to say there was!
Through working with a coach, setting goals, installing boundaries as well as adopting and prioritising some fantastic new lifestyle habits, I'm pleased to say, a few years later I'm more in balance than ever before. My business is thriving, I love what I do, but I also have an off-switch. I have clear boundaries between work and play and am able to feel less distracted and more present in my down-time with family and friends. I sleep better, eat better and feel more in control of my work and life. In short, these strategies I have used to help me manage my energy and stress have been game-changing - and those are what I am going to share with you in this punchy 90-minute Zoom workshop.
