An intimate afternoon of embodiment, restoration, and connection for women

When: Sunday, November 15, 2026 (1:00 - 5:30pm)

Where: Quinan Street Project, 656 Quinan St, Pinole, CA (street parking available)

--

Come home to yourself, in good company.

An intimate afternoon gathering for women - restful and juicy, nourishing and alive.

As the year turns toward winter, most of us are moving faster than ever, feeling the pull of all that wants doing before the holidays arrive. This afternoon is an invitation in the other direction: to slow down, drop into the body, and be replenished before the season asks so much of us.

In an intimate circle of women, we'll move at the pace of nourishment - spacious enough to actually feel it, gentle enough to receive it. Together we'll open the body through movement, deepen contact with ourselves and one another, rest deeply into the support of the earth, and close in song and celebration. Throughout, we'll practice attuning to the beauty and goodness already here - in your own being, in the circle gathered - and giving ourselves what's truly needed.

Together we’ll create a space to come home: to know yourself and each other more deeply, and to be nourished by the group and from within.

What we'll explore and take away

  • A way of attuning - a simple shift in how you view and relate to yourself, others, and the world that reveals more beauty, goodness, and truth

  • Embodied aliveness & the pace of nourishment - gentle movement and dance to open the whole body, and a practice of moving at the pace of nourishment you can take home to care for yourself anytime

  • Intimacy & contact - somatic and relational practices for deeper connection with yourself and others in a circle of soulful women committed to growth

  • Deep rest & inner ground - a nourishing guided practice to cultivate a felt sense of trust, safety, and innate belonging that's never at stake

You'll leave more resourced, more settled in your body, with practices you can carry home with you - and, we hope, a little more connected to yourself, the women beside you, and the beauty already here.

Our Container - Being Held and Holding Space:

We'll gather in a beautiful space with a small group (limited to 12) of soulful, growth-minded women. Together, we'll explore: What deeply nourishes? How do we move at the pace of nourishment? We’ll practice how to attune to ourselves, others, and the world in a way that connects us with the beauty, truth, and goodness that’s already here.

We'll move through an unhurried arc - opening the body, deepening into connection with ourselves and each other, sinking into deep supported rest, and closing in song and celebration.

Tea, coffee, and light snacks will be available throughout.

Consider bringing a friend - it's a beautiful way to share the experience and deepen a connection.

Sarah-Marie Hopf

Sarah-Marie Hopf

Sarah-Marie is a German/American unfoldment coach, facilitator, and meditation teacher. She's spent years accompanying leaders, founders, and fellow practitioners in deep inner work, and she loves gathering people in circle for the kind of unfolding that happens when we come into presence and attunement together. Known for her warm, attuned, and spacious presence and a gift for creating safe containers where people can meet themselves and feel deeply met, she helps people stop fixing what was never broken and remember the wholeness that's already here. Drawing on 22+ years of contemplative practice across multiple streams, she accompanies people in coming home to themselves - into presence, aliveness, and a deeper trust in the unfolding of their lives. She also makes dharma music as Joy For No Reason, with songs that have been arising spontaneously in silence on long meditation retreats. From Past Gatherings with Angie

“I've been working with Angie in several capacities - as an instructor, facilitator and coach - and I've learned so much from her. Far more than just information - but a way of being in the world that's deeply heart-centered which has been a huge boost to how I now show up as a coach, as a friend, and as a parent. Most of all, I really appreciated Angie's warm and confident presence, whether in a group or in one-on-one. The way she attunes and holds space for others creates the conditions for really powerful unfolding and I continue to be both challenged (in the best way) and inspired.” - Alex P.

“I love working with Angie. She’s genuine, grounded and deeply skilled. The insights she shared gently opened things in me, and her somatic approach created a space where I could safely integrate parts of myself that had been stuck. I now feel more connected to my true self and more resourced to meet whatever life brings.” - Pilar Z.

From Past Gatherings with Sarah-Marie

“I feel calmer, more grounded, and more JOY after doing this retreat. I accessed the strong, wise, and centered part of myself that serves me in my life more than the stress & anxiety voices. I also made some new friends and had a lot of fun. I just love Sarah-Marie’s facilitation style. She is patient and supportive, and she leaves a lot of space for answers… I'm just very impressed overall -- and I facilitate a lot of groups, so I know quality when I see it. Highly recommended -- especially for perfectionists and other high-achievers who are growth-minded.”  - Mel C.

"It is incredible what just a few minutes of unfolding can do! Sarah-Marie is skillful in creating a safe space and relating this new concept in a short amount of time. The exercises were powerful as was walking out with a new community of like minded individuals, each of us wanting to deepen our trust in the universe and ourselves in order to live with more joy and ease.” - Brinda G.
