Sarai Doyinsola Talabi
Events list
With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Sarai, who left us far too soon at the age of 17 after a short but brave battle with an aggressive cancer. Though her time on this earth was brief, she lived with a maturity and kindness that touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Sarai was a compassionate and giving soul, always putting others before herself. She had a heart full of love, a spirit full of warmth, and a determination that inspired those around her. Many knew her as Chef Segicooks, a name that reflected her passion for cooking and the joy she found in bringing people together through food.
She was a dedicated student at Chislehurst School for Girls, where she studied History, Religious Studies, and Media with dreams of making a difference in the world. Strong-willed and principled, she held respect in the highest regard—some called her stubborn, but in truth, she simply stood firm in what she believed was right.
Sarai is deeply missed by her loving parents, Kehinde and Philip, and her cherished siblings, Janet, Michael, Miriam, and Rachel. Their lives, and the lives of so many others, were forever brightened by her love, kindness, and presence.
Though we grieve, we find peace in knowing that Sarai’s faith was strong, and she is now in heaven, embraced by God’s love. Her light will never fade, and her legacy of love and generosity will remain in our hearts forever.
Rest well, beautiful Sarai. You were a gift to this world, and we will love you always.
