Sewing Machine Basics: How do I Use My Sewing Machine | Sarasota, FL

Focus:

Get to know your sewing machine, without the intimidation. We’ll start with the essentials, like threading and winding a bobbin (yes, it can be painless). You’ll meet the mystery feet that came with your machine and finally learn what they actually do. We’ll also play with stitch width and length so your sewing stops looking accidental and starts looking intentional. Practice on our machines, explore fun features, and leave feeling confident enough to boss around your machine at home.

What Should You Bring:
*Sewing Machine with all your accessories (feet, cords, foot pedal, Free hand system if you have it)
*Thread and bobbins
*6" inch by 9" inch fabric scraps for samples (cotton, knits, denims)
*Your manual or notebook for notes with pen/pencil
