Coed Hills Rural Art Space - Cowbridge, South Wales - Sunday 22nd November 2026.

Satoru is a live collaboration between internationally acclaimed harpist Catrin Finch and producer Lee House, created with the support of Arts Council Wales. This November it comes to Coed Hills for two nights, with an optional afternoon workshop and a late-night dance to make a full day of it.

The Main Performance (7:00 PM)

Step into a realm where sound becomes sensation, and music dares to ask the questions words cannot. Satoru fuses experimental harp with electronically sculpted texture and spoken word into a guided journey through perception and emotion, dissolving the boundaries between sound, self and silence.

It runs for around 75 minutes as one continuous piece, and nothing in a Satoru performance is ever recorded or released, so the room is the only place it exists.

You won't be told what to feel or think. This isn't background music and it isn't a sound bath. Expect to be stirred, expect to be unsettled, and expect to be asked something.

TICKET TYPES, Choose how you listen:

Downstairs, lying down (£35). The floor is the closest you can get to the sound, and the fullest version of the experience. Space is strictly limited. Bring a yoga mat, a pillow and a blanket.

Upstairs, cross-legged seated (£25). A raised vantage point over the whole space with a clear view of the performance. Bring a yoga mat or cushion to sit on.

ADDITIONAL add-ons:

The Satoru Workshop, 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM (£10 at Checkout).

Catrin and Lee open up about the project: where it came from, the thinking underneath it, and a full run-through of the instruments and technology that make the sound. An intimate look behind the curtain before you experience the main performance.

Ecstatic Dance, 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM (£10 at Checkout).

The room is cleared and Lee takes over the decks for two hours of movement to close the night. No experience needed, no steps to learn, no one watching.

Food and drink

A full hot dinner is available on site from independent caterers during the 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM break, with late-night snacks later on. Whether you're coming for the workshop or just the evening, arrive early, eat well and settle into the space. Food is bought from the vendors on the day and isn't included in the ticket price.

Before you book

Both nights are the same performance. 14+ Recommended. The show starts promptly at 7:00 PM with no admission once it has begun, so please arrive by 6:45 PM at the latest.

Parking is on site, but the walk to the venue crosses a short woodland path with steps and can be muddy in November, so sensible footwear is essential. 

Coed Hills has disabled access.

This is a non-alcoholic event; alternative beverages will be available to purchase.

Please bring your own mat or cushion to lie or sit on; these will not be provided by the venue.
