Glenn Hunter - The secret world of innovation in elite sport

The SCA Presents:

The secret world of innovation in elite sport - A talk by Glenn Hunter
What happens when you lock a room full of elite scientists, obsessives, and world-class athletes away from the public eye? You get Olympic gold, Premier League titles, and the top-secret world of "marginal gains." In this humorous and deeply insightful talk, Glenn lifts the curtain on his 40-year career operating in the shadows of elite sport. From the high-stakes pressure of professional football and rugby to the grueling open roads of the Tour de France—plus a staggering 5 Olympic and Paralympic Games—he has spent four decades answering one ridiculous question: How do we make the best in the world just one percent better? Prepare for a behind-the-scenes look at the extreme, the absurd, and the brilliant innovations driving human performance, and discover how obsessing over the tiny details can completely revolutionize your own life.
