About the session

Building on the recently published white paper “Measurement and Learning for Catalytic Programs in the Development and Humanitarian Sectors” this session will feature three case studies examining the ways that interventions and institutions are driving, capturing and learning from catalytic change. Drawing on field perspectives, the three intervention case studies will illustrate how contribution-focused approaches, in contrast to attribution-based models, are better suited to assess complex market- and systems-level change and to demonstrate the value of collaborative scaling efforts. The organizational case studies will examine how two organizations are mainstreaming and institutionalizing catalytic measurement as a part of their approach to systems change and scaling, including successes and challenges in overcoming organizational inertia and entrenched ways of working.

As part of this webinar, we will include a dedicated segment where our speakers respond to participant questions. To help us prepare and ensure the discussion reflects what matters most to you, we invite you to share any questions you may have in advance. Please feel free use the form linked here to submit any questions you’d like the speakers to address.
