Description
Menopausal mysteries leaked onto a stage near you
All hail the queen of cabaret events – a show comprising stand up, music, monologues and crafting that focuses on the funny side of the menopause and the uplifting freedom and positivity it can bring. Come along and laugh until the tears run down your legs – and feel reassured that it isn’t just you!
Host, peri-menopausal glamour-puss Bunny More than aka Rebecca Mordan (Glastonbury Festival compère, Sky News 'rent-a-feminist' and BBC Writers Room) is here to learn all she can about what's coming down the female line. In a perfect antidote to the doom and gloom surrounding the menopause,
Bunny will lead audiences on a be-sequined exploration of menopause and midlife.
And following a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the outrageous stand up of Jennifer Kennedy - award-winning author of Martha Gets the Menopause, Galloping Catastrophe: Musings of a Menopausal Woman and the hugely successful blog Is It Just Me? - brings you Menopausal Monologues. This is a collection of personal monologues breaking the silence around the menopause and giving voice to a variety of women’s (and some of their significant others’) real experiences.
Enjoy these two acts held together with music and song exploring and celebrating middle aged women, - or Queenagers!
Join us before the show for cakes and cocktails with our women-only play list and some radical crafting!
