The award-winning Verve Trio performs one of their diverse programs full of variety and contrast. Featuring familiar masterpieces by Shostakovich and Mendelssohn mixed with lesser-known works by Ned Rorem and David Baker, the musical language darts between dark tragedy, scampering anxiety, and cheeky jazz motifs.
