FINDING COURAGE IN WONDERLAND...an SCD DANCE LAB creation & performance.

We are really excited to welcome you to a brand new, totally unique to SCD show about courage, adventure, creativity and change...and fun!

This high energy show has been choreographed by SCD Dance Lab Teachers and class members together through an exciting adventure of collaboration.

Change can be scary.
Life's big questions can seem massive. Who am I? What do I want to be?
In a world with so many opportunities we can also feel sometimes like we don't fit.
BUT adventures help us grow and we can have so much fun as we gain courage along the way...

Inspired by the incredible story of Alice in Wonderland, this show helps children and adults consider what it is to find courage through change.
Particularly aimed at students preparing for or recently transitioning  to high school, this show bursting with colour, energy and imagination is entertaining, moving and inspiring in equal measure. We also hope its encouraging as we all discover again that change is a chance to grow, that we are never truly alone and all of us can find such joy as we find our place and courage in who we uniquely are... in wonderland.

*Dance Lab is a class (well two classes actually) that meet every Friday at SCD for those dancers wanting to work harder, go deeper and invest in their growth as creative dancers. Dance Lab students are School yr6 up to yr 13. 

KEY INFO

Choose tickets for the 1.00pm or 2.00pm show 

• Doors will open to SCD  30 minutes before each show
• Snacks will be available to purchase at the event by cash or card
• Tickets are non refundable for this event
• Everyone is welcome but this event is aimed at children in School Years 5 upwards
• Filming is not allowed during the shows so the performers can see your awesome faces! A high quality filmed version of the show will be available soon after the day.
• Buggies will not be allowed into the studio but can be left within SCD safely.
