SCDJ is about learning the basics and getting hands on as a DJ / Music Producer.

Running every week from Monday 4th November until Monday 9th December at SCD.

WHY SCDJ?

We launched SCDJ back in in 2021 extending our focus on dance classes and movement to dance music making... or, as we sometimes say,  "come and move your feet or shape the beat!". We love helping everyone find ways to feel good mentally and physically through dance and SCDJ is another great way we can  get creative as a community.

All courses follow the same programme and will work at the pace of the enrolled students. All sessions last 60 minutes.

This 6-week course will help you grow in your confidence as a DJ from scratch or from any basic experience you've had. 
You coculd also learn to begin producing dance music to create your very own tunes. 

Led by our resident DJ Paolo Tossio and DJ Mario - long term local community guys with a passion for music, creativity and building our community.

KEY INFO

* The course is taught at the SCD Studios*, St Nicholas Centre, Sutton, SM1 1AX.
* The course is made up of all 6 weeks. If you wish to join after week 1 please email info@scd.org.uk 
* Cost - £60 for all 6 weeks including an exclusive SCDJ t-shirt when you arrive.
* Places are limited to keep each group small and we have 3 DJ workstations (controllers and macs) in use every week
* Refunds are only approved if cancellation is sent to info@scd.org.uk 72 hours before the course starts

WHO IS SCDJ FOR?

The course is for anyone who wants to get involved, as long as you are aged School Year 3 upwards. You don't need to be members of SCD already but if you are or your friends or family are then you are of course really welcome to join in.

You don't need to have any of your own equipment or any experience, just an interest to learn and progress over the 6 weeks.
