Easter Classes and Workshops

Welcome to the Easter 2025 timetable of classes and workshops at SCD.

Our regular class timetable is paused from Monday 7th April until our new term begins on Tuesday 22nd April. You can find all term dates right here. 

We really hope there's something for everyone to enjoy, to keep dancing this Easter.

Please note EASTER CAMP is booked via its own separate booking page here. 

Simply book tickets for any and all classes you wish to book in for - taking note of the age groups of course.

PRICES
Classes are FREE for all SCD members who are currently paying monthly for classes.
Guests are very welcome to all classes and just pay £8 per class. Regular PAYG dancers should choose this ticket too.
Siblings of SCD monthly paying members can attend for £5

When booking simply choose the class you wish to join and then the ticket for guests or members.

FRIDAY 4th APRIL 6.30-8.30pm
SCD Street Crew Auditions (High School ages) - a chance for experienced HIgh School aged Street / Hip Hope dancers to audition for SCD's Street Crew which meets Tuesdays and Fridays through the year, performing and competing regularly. Book here. 

SATURDAY 5th April & SUNDAY 6th April - ALL SCD classes as normal timetable

MONDAY 7th April 

17.30-18.30 - K-POP Experienced Level aged 8-12. In many ways this new class is setup as a feeder class to help younger students train towards joining our K-POP crew. This is not a class for beginners, thats what our Saturday 1.00pm class is for - see below. 

18.30-19.30 K-POP High School and Adults Experienced level. Open to everyone about High School Age who has experience in K-Pop and able to dance at an experienced level

19.30-20.30 Adult Ballet - open level for everyone and typically for people who love taking this weekly class, perhaps returning to Ballet after a few years or equally for those who are used to regular Ballet classes.

20.30-21.30 Adult Contemporary -  open level for everyone and typically for people who love taking this weekly class, perhaps returning to Contemporary after a few years or equally for those who are used to regular Ballet classes. Many dancers stay on from Ballet to join Contemporary.

TUESDAY 8th April 

16.30-17.15 YOUNG LIFTERS - aged 7-11 - our all new sessions with Jay up in Studio 3's gym area. These taster sessions are a great intro to strength based training in this lovely new and well equipped SCD Gym space for everyone who's interested to take 1-1 or class sessions with Jay. £8/ £4

17.30-18.15 - YOUNG LIFTERS - High School aged -  our all new sessions with Jay up in Studio 3's gym area. These taster sessions are a great intro to strength based training in this lovely new and well equipped SCD Gym space for everyone who's interested to take 1-1 or class sessions with Jay. £8/ £4

18.30 PILATES with Phoebe - for High School Age and Adults. Enjoy Pilates with plenty of space, mats provided and a lovely fresh vibe with SCD's own Phoebe. 

19.30-20.30 ADULT STREET with Natalie Ward for a brilliant hour of pumping grooves and hot hip hop moves. Come along whether you join us every week or for your first experience of Adult Street at SCD. Everyone 16+ welcome.

19.30-20.30 ADULT TAP - this freestyle Tap class is for anyone with some experience of Tap. Its not for brand new beginners so some basic Tap understanding is very helpful. 

20.30-21.30 ADULT FAME - our popular weekly musical theatre class is a wonderful space to immerse yourself in West End style moves.. in a welcoming and fun class which is open to everyone 16+.

WEDNESDAY 9th April. - JUST TURN UP, no need to book! PAY ON ARRIVAL (if you don't pay monthly thanks)

19.30-20.30 RUMBALATINA - a wonderful evening of Latin inspired dance moves to a fab playlist, led by Tori. Open to everyone aged 16+

SATURDAY 12th April - Super Saturday!

09.30-10.15 DANCE PARTY IN THE PARK - for everyone - all ages - meet us at the top of Manor Park ready to boogie outdoors in the [we really hope] lovely weather! JUST TURN UP, no need to book!

10.30-11.15 STREET DANCE ages 5-12. Come along and enjoy Street Dance in your age group, spread across the SCD studios...whether you do Street with us regularly or not. Everyone welcome in this age group. Parents and carers don't need to stay at SCD during this class.

10.30-11.15 CONTEMPORARY ages 5-12 Enjoy a wonderful Contemporary class if you would like to do this rather than Street - one of the most popular styles of class at SCD. This is also one of the best styles to learn if you want to become a great all round dancer. Parents and carers don't need to stay at SCD during this class.

11.30-12.30 COMMERCIAL - High School ages - whether you are in this class every week or wish to give it a try do book in for a brilliant session learning a cool routine with team SCD.

12.30-13.30 SILENT EASTER DISCO. All ages and families welcome for this fun session in our glowing Studio, with special effects and our awesome Silent Disco Headphones. Come wearing your glowing gear! Parents and carers don't need to stay at SCD during this class for children over 5 yrs old. Under 5s MUST be accompanied throughout.

13.00-14.00 K-POP School Years 5-12, open level. Join us for a brilliant session with Su Young.

14.00-15.00 K-POP Crew High School students who passed the recent audition.

10.30 AEROLATINO adults Latin class with Jeff and Chris. A fab way to begin any Sunday!
