HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL - SCD SUMMER CAMP 2025

This is going to be a big one. We hope you can join us!

This five day camp is going to be awesome as SCD transforms into a High School Musical set for the week.

The week will be packed full of Memory and Friendship Making, Creative Dancing, Singing, Street & Commercial Dance, Theme related Craft Sessions, Mindfulness and Relaxation, all themed around our brilliant High School Musical experience.

As with all SCD camps, children are split into age appropriate groups to rotate around classes taught by our expert team of passionate teachers and young leaders. Everyone will be learning original choreography to songs from this popular musical. Then, on Friday we will be handing out our unique High School Musical t-shirts to everyone, ready for an end of week High School Musical performance for family and friends on Friday 

Places are available for children in Reception and up to School Yr7. Students in Yr8 upwards can also apply to volunteer at the camp for the week as young leaders. Young Leaders need to be enrolled SCD students or former Young Leaders.

This is a fun packed 5 day camp  (10.00am-4.00pm) where you book in and attend all 5 days.

This Summer camp is open to all children currently enrolled in school years from Reception (transitioning to year 1 in September) and up to School Year 7 (transitioning to year 8 in September) at the time of booking their ticket. ...with Yr8 SCD dance class students invited to apply to be Young Leaders.

Prices are:
*£95 for SCD students enrolled in classes on 1st August 2025.
*£115 siblings of SCD students ie if anyone in your family dances with us each month and is enrolled on 1st August, non class family members can be booked in for this price.
*£185 for guests where no family member is enrolled with SCD on 1st August 2025.

Those needing extra support will be connected to a buddy for the week as we work together to be as inclusive as possible. Please indicate on the booking form if you feel a buddy would be useful for your child.

FINAL SHOW TICKETS & INFO - FRIDAY 1st AUGUST at 4.00pm
Everyone attending the final show must book a ticket; adults AND children as spaces are limited.

Children under 10 are free and will use the floor mats but do still need a place booking for our total capacity count. 

Mobile phones cannot be used to film during the show as we want the children to see your faces. SCD  will be professionally filming the final show and we will share this with everyone within 72 hours of the show finishing.

Key info for Summer Dance Camp:

1. Please arrive at 10.00 each day - thats when doors will open and show us your ticket QR code on arrival to be scanned.
2. The final mini show is on Friday 1st August, 4PM for friends and family @ SCD - you need to book a ticket for this.
3. The price given is for all 5 days, we cannot take single day bookings.
4. We ask all students to bring snacks, packed lunch and a water bottle each day. We have a NO NUTS policy in place.
5. All students are given a special dance camp t-shirt for the final show within their ticket price. Choose the required size when booking.
6. All places must be pre-booked with the correct ticket selected. SCD verifies each ticket and will adjust charges made if needed.
7. Cancellations must be emailed to info@scd.org.uk Cancellations made by 5pm on Friday 4h July can be refunded in full. Cancellations made by 5pm on Friday 18th July can receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received after this time will not be refunded UNLESS evidence shows a valid medical reason and SCD's Directors will then make a decision at their discretion.
