Join us for an inspiring careers conversation with two professionals whose careers demonstrate how a social science degree can lead to careers with impact and the ability to pivot and adapt to new fields of work.
Our speakers will share their career journeys, key lessons from navigating different sectors, and insights into building a meaningful career in policy, education, social impact and beyond.
Hear from:
- Eleni Koutsouri, a BASS alumna who worked with UNESCO before founding an ethical tourism technology start-up.
- Mariann Dósa, a policy professional working for the UK Government, with a background in activist literacy programmes.
The event will include a panel discussion hosted by our very own Social Sciences Society which will explore:
- Career pathways in policy and social impact
- Adapting to change and navigating career pivots
- Translating skills across sectors
- Building a values-led career
- Advice for current students and recent graduates
The session will include a facilitated discussion followed by a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and learn from our speakers' experiences.
