Dr Virág Blazsek, Deputy Director of the Centre for Business Law and Practice (CBLP) will sit down with our distinguished Leeds Law alumnus, David Bearman, for a fireside-chat-style conversation focused on Brian Tracy's legendary book Eat That Frog!: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time

Efficient time management—staying focused and being able to prioritise among our many tasks and obligations—is a key element of success in the legal profession and in life generally. David and Virág will share their experiences on this crucial topic, which has only become more relevant—and more challenging—in an era of unlimited technology and information overload.

David and Virág will use real-life examples (e.g., career chapters, risk-taking in life, long-term perspectives) while keeping the main focus on successful time management and goal achievement in their professional lives. The event aims to offer hands-on solutions and strategies for our law school community (both students and staff are welcome).

This will be David's second In Conversation with event at our School of Law. Check out an event summary of the first event two years ago, in early 2024, here, where David shared his insights as to the transferability of legal skills in other professional areas, such as investment management.
