Straw Bale Technical Details - Friday 27th February

ABOUT BARBARA JONES:

Barbara is the founder of SNaB (@schoolofnaturalbuilding), and the UK’s pre-eminent straw-bale building authority. She has decades of experience with straw bale building, clay and lime plastering, building physics and leading work on building sites across the UK and Europe. Her book, 'Building with Straw Bales; A Practical Manual for Self-Builders and Architects' is considered the essential guide to building with straw, and Barbara brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to every course. She will ensure course participants have a wonderful learning experience.

ABOUT THE LONDON SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE:

The London School of Architecture is a network of students and practice. Their studio at Beechwood Road, Dalston, is a 4 minute walk from Dalston Junction overground, a 7 minute walk from Dalston Kingsland overground and a 15 minute walk from Hackney Downs stations. It is also well connected to multiple bus routes. We encourage use of public transport and cycling. There is public cycle parking outside the LSA and at Dalston Junction Station which is a short walk away.
