Who says your spiritual practice needs to be serious?
What if playfulness could become a pathway towards self-discovery and wholeness?
Come and join us for this 4-week introductory ‘practice of playfulness' journey, where grown up adults can reconnect with their often buried sense of childlike play.
We will draw from the worlds of clowning, improv, mime and dance as well as spontaneous silliness and generalised irreverence. Together, this unlikely cocktail will leave you feeling joyous, open-hearted and flooded with endorphins.
Through a range of games and structures, we will explore aspects of play such as spontaneity, misbehaviour, exuberance, sensitivity, connection and totality - and also take time to explore and process how we are feeling as we undergo the journey.
The workshops will be a safe space with no pressure ‘to perform’- although the urge may arise. Rather the aim is to build an encouraging supportive nest from which you can launch yourself into your innately exuberant and playful aspect and free your inner child.
Some aspects of the workshop will be held and structured, others will be a little bit free and spontaneous (and even occasionally anarchic), all interspersed with dancing and 'digestion time.' There will also be a chill-out area should you need to sit things out for a while

During this course you will:
- Discover how The Practice of Playfulness is a healing medicine that can transform emotions such as repression, numbness and disconnection into feelings of happiness, optimism and inner aliveness.
- See how the path of self-expression develops inner qualities such as courage, creativity, confidence and improved communication skills.
- Understand how play gives a strong taste of emotional freedom and moment-by-moment living in a real, embodied way.
- Be supported through regular sharing circles and times for self-reflection.

“Thank you for an enriching and ridiculous 6 weeks of playfulness.I loved the journey and cultivating the trust to play together allowed fresh and unexpected expressions to emerge.”
“For me this is less of a class or workshop and more of a happening…a congregation of joyful souls happy to hang out and relax in a climate of friendliness. Out of that trust, true silliness and fun can emerge.”
“Thank you for bringing into fruition a space which is so playful and nourishing to the soul. To have all our parts to come up and be met, not only with with encouragement but with love is so rare in this world- it takes weird and deep to awaken and meet weird and deep!”
“ It’s been a pleasure being on this journey with every single one of you and see everyone expand and grow on this journey into deeper expression of our selves. I appreciate everyone’s acceptance and kindness. It’s been the first place in a long time where I felt safe and accepted to just be myself and explore parts of myself no matter how crazy, silly and unexpected.”
"Ailon creates such a safe and humorous space for people to explore their inner joker and let go of their inhibitions. I’ve given myself permission to be playful again and it’s been so liberating to reconnect with that part of me."
“What a pleasure and a privilege to be part of this workshop”
“Like being drunk with no alcohol”
