A Clown Healing day provides the chance to explore your playfulness, silliness and sense of fun in a safe space.
The intention is to create emotional freedom and release through the art of play and the craft of clowning. The workshop is aimed at ordinary humans who want to release stress, open up to others, laugh out loud, build confidence, step out of their usual personas and rediscover their sense of aliveness and creativity. All in a day's work really.
From Ailon's perspective, "The Clown' is an internal facilitator or bridge that helps us connect with the playful inner child that we all carry within (yet which sometimes gets lost in serious adult life.)
Here's what to expect
10.30 onwards- arrival, teas and wees
11.00- Intro's, meeting each other, gentle group games and silly dancing to loosen the body, open the emotions and neutralise the mind
12.15 - Clown Skills 101- an introduction to basic clowning skills such as mime, exaggeration, silliness, spontaneity and misbehaviour. These will all be explored through group games and we will feel the support and affirmation of the group energy
1.30-2.30 - Communal Shared lunch
2.30-4.30 - Meeting your inner clown. Through the use of costumes, music and carefully designed clown exercises we will say hello to our inner mischief-maker and fool. (You could just call it your inner clown if you prefer).
4.30 - Winding down and closing circle. De-briefing the experience and integrating the journey
If all goes well, you will have glimpsed how Clown Healing is a catalyst for many aspects of personal and spiritual development including: Self-expression, Creativity, Humility, Acceptance, Vulnerability, Present Moment Living, Mindfulness, Spontaneity, Connection, Authenticity, Joy, Going with the flow.
About your trainer Ailon Freedman:
