According to the latest Pearson Report, 2 out of 3 teachers go into teaching to make a difference to pupils’ lives. This same report also found that two thirds of the teachers surveyed highlighted pupil mental health and wellbeing as something they have become increasingly concerned about in the last year.
In the first of our free ‘Becoming a Responsive School’ webinar series, we will be joined by mental health professional Roisin Robinson, who will discuss how you can support and nurture the mental well being of your students.
An experienced therapist, accredited by PTUK and a member of BACP, Roisin has been working with NHS CAMHS for the last five years to support young people with symptoms of trauma. Kindly agreeing to share her knowledge, you will gain advice about:
- How to identify struggling children and adolescents
- How to support individual students with their mental health
- How to create a nurturing culture in your school
To find out more about Roisin's fantastic work, you can read more about her by clicking here.
