Around half of teachers say they used their school’s sanctions policy in their last lesson.
What sanctions are being used, what for, and who runs them?
Join us for this free online briefing: select the time that suits you best, and join either for 15 minutes only, or stay for the full 30 minutes.
In just 15 minutes, Teacher Tapp's Head of Community, Grainne Hallahan will share the latest national data from thousands of primary and secondary teachers. Find out how often and why teachers are setting sanctions, what is and isn't permitted in their school, and how sanctions are actually operated. Grainne will be sharing our latest insights, gathered from 10,000 teachers across the country answering questions in our daily surveying app. She'll share the differences by phase, and look at how trends have been changing over time.
You'll be able to reflect on how typical your own set up and experiences seem to be in comparison to the national data.
Then stay on to see the survey questions we suggest you ask your own staff. June Stevenson, Head of School Surveys, will share the ways that asking questions in your own school can help you uncover and address issues, as well as help build an evidence base for aspects of your SEF.
You will also have the opportunity to put your own questions to the team. (Please note, the event recording will be turned off for this discussion part of the event).
