As AI rapidly reshapes how science is conducted, taught, and applied, there is a clear need for authoritative leadership to help frame the conversation about the science workforce beyond speculation towards evidence, experience, and practical action.

This flagship event will take a forward-looking approach, exploring how AI can support people entering the science workforce, how roles are already evolving in practice, and what lessons can be drawn from the real-world adoption of AI across the sciences to date.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Professor Chris Johnson, Chief Scientific Advisor of the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology
  • Professor Charlotte Deane, Executive Chair of the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council and UKRI AI Senior Responsible Owner
