A unique, public-facing celebration of economic thinking – designed to challenge, inform, and inspire. The festival brings together leading economists, commentators, campaigners, and curious citizens to explore BIG economic ideas.

Scotland’s Economics Festival is open to everyone: Students, workers, policy-makers, activists, and anyone trying to make sense of today’s economy.
If you believe Scotland needs BIG ideas, not just small tweaks, join us in Leith for over twenty talks across three days of future-shaping conversations.
Most talks start at only £5.50 entry.
Day tickets (to allow you to attend all of the sessions on that day) range from £12.50 for Thursday night and £35 for Saturday for our concession tickets.
There are free events too.
Speakers include: Professors Steve Keen and John Harvey. Political Economists William Thomson and Neil McInroy. Authors Russell Jones and Emma Holten.
And many, many more.
