Swap the System | Annual Campaigner Gathering 2026
Following on from our Youth-led Swap the System campaign launched earlier this year, we're inviting Fair Trade campaigners and budding global justice advocates across Scotland to our Annual Campaigner Gathering, for a future-focused discussion on what Fair Trade could look like.
Moving beyond conversations centered around consumer choice, we're bringing together experienced campaigners alongside youth activists, to rejuvenate the movement and consider wider questions around ethical business, global justice, responsible supply chains and systems change, making the connection between Fair Trade, climate justice action, and worker's rights.
You can expect to: hear from the young people behind the Swap the System Campaign, learn from speakers already leading the way in ethical business, engage in interactive workshops, and gain practical actions to take away with you into your wider communities and networks.
Everyone is welcome! You don't need to already have experience in the Fair Trade movement to join. If you are passionate about global solidarity, climate action and human rights, and you want to make the world a better place, this event is for you.
Speakers:
- Albert Tucker, Karma Foundation
- Fiona Buchanan, Transform Trade
- Virginia Toyi, CEMVO Scotland
- Louise Davies, Scottish Fair Trade
- Scottish Fair Trade Youth Ambassadors: Rebecca, Alissa, Chidiogo and Sonia
