Around 80% of our carbon footprint in Scotland comes from our consumption habits and this is damaging the planet. Only one fifth of the Scottish population is fully aware of the negative impact consuming new products has on climate change.
We will be hosting a session with Zero Waste Scotland which will look into what Scotland is doing to reduce our impact and how you can reduce your carbon footprint at home!
In the session we'll learn more about carbon reduction policy in Scotland and what the Scottish Government is doing to meet ambitious climate targets. Then, speakers from Zero Waste Scotland will join us to share their work on overconsumption and steps we can take to reduce our impact.
