Scrutineering will be between 08:30 - 09:30.
Competition will start at 10am
For RTV Competition we would recommend removal of Side Steps and any removable lower bumper skirts, etc

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
The following information is to be read in conjunction with the ALRC Members Handbook (often referred to as the Green Book), available on-line (https://alrc.co.uk/handbook/) or hard copy by request to the Club Secretary or the Event Convenors
The Scottish Land Rover Owners Club Ltd, hereafter referred to as the Club, has organised a Clubmans Road Taxed Vehicle (RTV) Trial, run under a Clubman Permit to be held at venue detailed above on date above under the General Regulations of the RAC Motor Sports Association Ltd. and these Supplementary Regulations.

The event is open to current Club Members and any member of a club affiliated to the A.L.R.C.
RTV Trial Drivers must hold a valid RTA licence (not provisional) for vehicles with more than three wheels and produce a valid Club membership card and all competitors must hold a current RS Clubman Driving Licence or higher.
The event is part of the annual Club Championship.
Scrutineering will start at: 0830 Hrs.
The event will start at: 1000 Hrs.
RTV Trials: 10 laid out sections are to be tackled. Competitors will start in an order determined by the Clerk of Course, normally by random shuffle (but taking in to account double / triple entered vehicles). The competitor starting first on the first section will move to last position on the next. The person starting first on the second section will move to last on the third, etc. This pattern may be over ruled by Clerk of Course, especially for any novices. The event will be run according to the rules and guidelines laid out in the “Blue Book” and the ALRC Handbook.
The Event is entirely off the public highway.
All competing vehicles have to conform to the regulations appropriate to the Event as detailed in the Members Handbook, and all competitors and spectators have to conform to the conduct regulations therein. Commercial Type Vehicles, such as vans & Pick-ups are acceptable. Vehicles need not be Road Taxed
12 Penalty points will be awarded for any competitor practicing a competition section in advance.
There will be no T.V. coverage or tobacco advertising.
There will be no cash prizes. Club Championship trophies are awarded i.a.w the SLROC Standing Supplementary Regulations.
The maximum number of entries is 40, minimum 6.
Entries will be accepted on the day once the vehicle has passed scrutineering.
The entry fee for the RTV Trial is £22.50 per competitor, which is non-refundable.
Competitors must “sign on” using the club event page and ensure any passengers are signed on following instructions given at that page. Club membership cards, driving licences and MOT certificates will be checked as appropriate for the Event.
All potential competitors should check the Club Website and Facebook Group Page prior to the event in case of venue change or cancellation. If the Event has to be cancelled at the venue, Members will be told how to find out about the new arrangements.
The following Club Officials will run the Event:-

Results will be read out at the end of the Event, and published on the club website.

Competition Numbers are not required.
All markers/canes are live, even if successfully navigated earlier in the section, but subsequently hit, they will be classed as a penalty. Penalty points awarded will be as per the next gate on the section.
Individual results cards will not be issued. A Master Score card will be kept by Finish Marshal.
Competitors who suffer a mechanical breakdown may continue in another vehicle of the same class which has already been scrutineered and accepted for the event.
Only one Passenger aged 16 or over may be carried on a vehicle during Observed Sections. However, this may reduce to 14, providing the vehicle is fitted with seat belts and either a manufacturer’s hard top, a truck cab, or a rollbar, or where the vehicle is a road legal, mass produced, production vehicle retaining the original hardtop or truck cab and which has a three point seat belt the minimum age of the passenger is 12.
Changes of Direction/Shunts may be used:
- Used for vehicles over 95” long;
- If an attempt to make a turn is made but not achieved (due to being unable to turn any more);
- If “SHUNT” is shouted out before coming to a halt.
Shunts may not be used:
- To deliberately improve your line by turning in late;
- If you have gone the wrong way/past a gate;
- When an ascent is failed;
- To make a restart after coming to an involuntary halt.
Vehicles must be fitted with a substantial towing point front and rear, it need not be painted in a contrasting colour.
