Join our community of fiber artists during one of our sewing circles.
Ever wanted to learn to sew? Or join a community of local textile artists to level up your skills? Hop into our sewing circle and pick up some tips and tricks.
Start a new project, finish an old one, repair clothing that’s been loved, this is a casual learning environment.
Bring your own machine or use one of ours, bring a friend or meet one here, and play with our endless scraps of recycled fabric.
This week, we'll be starting off by creating our own pin cushions, a helpful tool for any sewing space.
Skills taught:
- Threading a sewing machine
- Winding a bobbin
- Changing needles
- Adjusting machine settings
- Basic construction techniques
- Picking fabrics
- More
We have craft supplies available to all participants. We will have rotary cutters, but feel free to bring your own shears for this activity.
This is a beginner class
