GCA: Scrappy Sewing Circle @ ScrapTucker

Join us for the Scrappy Sewing Circle!

Are you interested in learning how to sew or just want to get comfortable with a sewing machine? Then come to our sewing circle! This sewing circle is open to sewists of all levels, where we encourage community education and support with everyone's sewing journeys. If you have a sewing machine at your house that's collecting dust, bring it to our sewing circle to learn how to use it! If you just need help hemming a pair of pants or don't understand your buttonhole attachment, then come to the sewing circle! This workshop does get full, so please make sure ot grab a ticket before they're gone! We will provide fabric, rotary cutters, scissors, needles, and some thread. However, we highly encourage folks to bring their own thread and/or left-handed sewing scissors if needed. 

This workshop is a part of Scraplanta's Green Creatives Academy, a workshop series spanning from May 16th to July 25th focused on educating sewists and fiber artists on how to create more sustainable finished projects. This series will ultimately culminate into a Trashion Show to celebrate participants' newfound knowledge and graduation from our academy. Participants must attend at least 4 GCA eligible workshops to be eligible for the Trashion Show Graduation.

Sliding Scale Tiers

We want our workshops to be accessible to the community, which means participants can choose whichever tier they are comfortable with paying. You only need to select one tier and can also add a donation to your purchase. Everyone is treated equally at all pay levels, and we don’t conduct income verification. We’re just excited to craft with you!

How to Find ScrapTucker
This workshop takes place at ScrapTucker, which is located at 2130 Henderson Mill Rd Atlanta, GA 30345 in the Briarcliff Village Shopping Plaza. Our storefront is not visible from the parking lot. Visitors must walk behind Rose's Alterations and in between TJ Maxx and Burlington.
