The Adventures of Prince Achmed & the Enchanted Creatures Tiree Orchestra

Become part of a pop-up orchestra and help perform a live original score to Lotte Reiniger’s The Adventures of Prince Achmed - the world's oldest animated feature film, which celebrates 100 years in 2026! The film famously inspired Walt Disney to use her pioneering methods.

Using hands, voices, and instruments from around the world, The Enchanted Cinema invite the audience to reveal their unique sound, before they team up to bring to life the exquisite silhouette animation of Lotte Reiniger.

Working with professional musicians Caelia (violin) and Kieron (guitar, keyboard), our pop-up orchestra of enchanted creatures will capture every sound effect and musical cue from the films.
