Scholarship Mastery

Most students find scholarship tests overwhelming and daunting. It’s vital they experience regular practice before sitting one of these exams. Mr C will demonstrate quality writing. Students will practise, under time constraints just like a real test. When the time is up they must submit their work. This way they will become familiar with the demands. Mr C will also discuss his techniques and provide his unique structure that covers many kinds of questions. Unfortunately students can be asked anything from narrative, persuasive, and discussion so there will not be a focus on specific genres. This class is about watching, learning, and doing, to help remove the stress if and when they sit for such a test. Suggested ages would be Year 3 to Year 9. However depending on the individual, these limits are flexible. A pre-course test will be performed by the students followed by a post-course test with a report emailed to the student. There is weekly practise included and feedback will be provided during lessons online. And if your child misses a lesson, no problem. Just contact us and they can easily catch up with the recorded video and not miss a thing!
