Description
Dear Southwark School,
School superzones is a place-based intervention for schools in areas of greatest disadvantage. It plays a crucial role in protecting children's health and enabling healthy behaviours and leverages the place-shaping powers of creative partnerships, local authorities and student insights. Additionally, our project aims to build creativity, communication skills and foster a sense of wellbeing, citizenship, decision making and appreciation for the natural world.
Following a successful trial that led to positive changes for a Peckham primary school, Southwark's Public Health team has commissioned Scribeasy Limited (a creative storytelling and technology organisation) to expand the opportunity enabling students of all abilities to focus on green spaces, air quality, and access to healthy food and share ideas.
Your role as a teacher in promoting this project and using these activities in school is greatly valued, please sign up! In addition, we can offer a school assembly and a free workshop.
Another immediate participatory option is to ask students to complete this questionnaire online or print it out (please email: Mercy@scribeasy.com to pick them up. Thanks!
