In collaboration with the Museum of British Folklore and the London College of Fashion (UAL),  the Scribeasy Storytelling team are excited to lead a day of family arts and crafts and digital storytelling inspired by the exhibition "Making More Mischief".

This is a chance to unlock everyone's creativity and experiment with a wide range of material and techniques and make costumes and objects inspired by some of Britain's vast range of folk art and seasonal customs. You will make something to take home based on traditions such as London’s carnivals, Doggett’s Coat and Badge Race, Swan Upping and Somali May Day.

The Bow Arts venue is a light and spacious enclosed courtyard that is accessible for all and there will be a cafe with light refreshments.

The event is FREE (generously supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund), but please book a ticket per person to help us plan materials and ensure our artists and team can cater for all participants' needs. We are excited for this opportunity to present a wide range of arts and crafts and looking forward to meeting you!
