Description
Find Writing Inspiration in Historic Northeast Minneapolis
Scribente Maternum was formed out of a desire to find balance between our children as writing inspiration and their presence as a writing distraction. Our retreats are meant to give you time to rest, recharge, and breathe. These are experiences that mothers so often do not make time for but so desperately need: meditation, mindfulness, writing, and simply sitting in stillness.
We are excited to bring the Scribente Maternum retreat experience back to the city! Join us at our 2024 Write Like a Mother Retreat in the historic arts district of Northeast Minneapolis. Thank you to Coco coworking and event space for serving as a site sponsor for our retreat. It's time to find some serious inspiration and connection as we get cozy in the city.

Thank you, Coco Northeast, for serving as site sponsor for the 2024 Write Like a Mother retreat.
LOCATION:
- Minneapolis in November is the perfect backdrop for writing and inspiration. In November, the city has just begun to move indoors for the months ahead, collectively leaning in to the Danish concept of "hygge," or extreme coziness and comfortable togetherness. Minnesotans begin to retreat from the outdoors by finding comfort with each other indoors.
- The neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis is a rich combination of history and culture. The Coco space was once a furniture factory, and the charm of the building's history remains. We are extremely grateful to Coco's support of moms who write by donating their beautiful space for our retreat.
- Located just a ten-minute drive from the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport and with ample street parking, Northeast Minneapolis is convenient for travelers and locals alike.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- Time & space to write
- The unique Scribente Maternum writer-moms community
