Writing for Parenting Publications
Want to write for parenting publications but need help figuring out where to start?
Writing parenting pieces can be a great way to break into a variety of outlets, and many parenting publications are open to working with writers new to publishing. This session will dive into the wide world of parenting publications, and how to write different pieces for different markets. We'll cover types of parenting pieces, markets, how to structure a pitch, examples of successful pitches, and other considerations like privacy concerns when writing about kids.
