Registered Scrum Trainer - Train the Trainer

Registered Scrum Trainer (RST) candidates may only proceed to this step after successfully completing the previous steps in the application process. Please note that in your path to become a Registered Scrum Trainer, we may require you to complete additional co-training or work if you do not yet meet or exceed required standards.
The Train the Trainer courses are invite-only (based on acceptance of the applicant’s case study) and will be limited to 8 applicants per course. The course is five days and culminates in a ScrumCraft delivered public Scrum Inc. course which Registered Scrum Trainer applicants in attendance will co-teach to get hands-on experience with the Scrum Inc. curriculum.
On successful completion of the TTT course Registered Scrum Trainers will be authorised to teach Registered Scrum Master™, Registered Product Owner™, and Registered Scrum Team Member™ courses.
TTT Course Overview
Registered Scrum Trainers actively push the boundaries of Scrum application through their experience working with teams and organisations. Registered Scrum Trainers satisfy the acceptance criteria outlined in their application and meet the standards of the Scrum Inc. Agile Education Program in the dimensions of quality, impact, knowledge, and ability. Registered Scrum Trainers regularly contribute to the Scrum community by sharing their experiences and thought leadership.
This course equips the Registered Scrum Trainer (RST) Candidate to bring individual Scrum Teams to a state of high-performance and prepares the Registered Scrum Trainer to address the unique set of challenges that occur at the team level. RST Candidates who complete the this course are authorised to teach Registered Scrum Team Member (RSTM), Registered Scrum Master (RSM) and Registered Product Owner (RPO) courses.
With the help of your instructor, you will:
- Understand your teaching style and to build your strengths
- Understand the brain science associated to effective training
- Build on your trainer muscles and extend your toolbox
- Storytelling and bringing content to life with case studies
- Prepare for and deliver a credentialed training course - Registered Scrum Master / Registered Product Owner
Course Prerequisites

Credential Process
Full credentialling follows this process:
1. Interview with Trainer Candidate and acceptance criteria validation
2. Case Study submission review and acceptance criteria validation
3. Pay to enrol for your Train the Trainer course
4. Prepare to deliver training via this 3 day Train the Trainer course
5. Trainer Candidate training delivery 2 days of observation & evaluation
6. Pay the annual trainer fee to Scrum Inc and you are done!
Course Duration
This advanced course is run over 5 days, starting 9am ACST/ACDT.
3 days is for Train the Trainer and training delivery preparation.
2 days is for Training Delivery and trainer feedback iterations.
