Description
SCVO cordially invites registered charities to attend our next Meet the Funder session in partnership with Severn Trent Community Fund.
We’re delighted to announce Natalie Cunningham, Grants Officer for Severn Trent Community Fund is coming virtually to Sandwell. Our online session will enable you to connect directly with the funder, ask any questions you may have and receive tailored advice about your project idea enabling you to build a much stronger case for any potential investment prior to submitting your application.
How it works and who can apply
From 2020-2025 the Severn Trent Community Fund will give away £10 million to support local projects, charities (including exempt charities e.g. schools) and community groups in the Severn Trent region.
Projects are funded under three main themes:
- People: Projects that help people to gain new skills or improve their lives
- Places: Projects that help to create better places to live in and use
- Environment: Projects that help to look after the natural environment, improve access to nature or help look after water
Further guidelines and eligibility requirements can be found on Severn Trent website here: https://www.stwater.co.uk/about-us/severn-trent-community-fund/
The session is a fantastic opportunity for not-for-profit organisations to learn more about the funds available, who is eligible to apply and the assessment process. As a minimum, organisations must have a governing document and a bank account in the group’s name, with joint signatories.
