Voluntary Sector workshop discussion around Adult Safeguarding
Voluntary Sector workshop discussion around Adult Safeguarding
Need help?
Many people, at different times in their lives, find themselves vulnerable, this can be for a variety of reasons and can include a situation in their life or through their physical or mental health. We all have a responsibility to keep those who are vulnerable safe from harm.
SCVO and Sandwell Safeguarding Adults Board are inviting members of the voluntary and community sector to a workshop to inform plans that support the community in Sandwell to help safeguard those who are vulnerable and tell us what works from your point of view.
We are inviting members of staff and volunteers from Sandwell’s Voluntary and Community Sector to this session for you to share your valuable views and feedback and also have a chance to consider:-
- different ways in which people can be vulnerable to harm
- your experience of support and being in the community
- how training and support can help to keep people safe from harm
- what a good learning and development offer looks like
The session is being held on Thursday 13th June 9.30am – 11.30am at YMCA, Carters Green, West Bromwich, B70 9LG.
